Started in 1960 by Charles and Marie Saia, Saia Plumbing & Heating was originally located in Tacoma Park, Maryland. In 1965, the business transitioned into Olney, Maryland.

From the start, Saia Plumbing & Heating established a number of good relationships, not only with restaurants and contractors, but also with residents of the community.
Sometime in the mid 70s, Charles and Marie turned the business over to their three sons: Charles, Martin and Steve. The three continued to build the business and cultivate relationships with large restaurant chains, contractors specializing in restaurant construction and commercial establishments as well as loyal residential customers.
Now, Martin’s son, Marty, is the third generation of the Saia family to take over the business. Marty started in the office in 1994, working together with his father for over 22 years. Marty plans to carry on the same relationships that his father and grandfather worked to build and to run the business with the same hard work and integrity that made it what it is today.
